BSF and PFI
During the last few years Norse has sought involvement in a number of these schemes as we believe that our particular style of partnership working fits very well with the aims of the participating organisations.
In 2008 the Suffolk Fire and Rescue PFI reached Financial Close with Norse providing the FM services within the successful Land Group consortium. This project entails an initial 8 new and refurbished fire stations, with the opportunity to bring more into the portfolio going forward. Services include:
- Cleaning
- Building Maintenance
- Grounds Maintenance,
- Security
- 24 hour internet based Helpdesk

Within the Building Schools for the Future programme Norse are part of the May Gurney consortium that has successfully reached Financial Closure on North Lincolnshire Council’s seven new and refurbished schools project. Construction commences during 2010 with completion due by 2012.
Norse are also part of the Land Group consortium, currently bidding for the construction and FM management of nine new fire stations in the East London area. Construction on this project will commence during 2011 and be phased over 3 years.
Norse places great emphasis on a locally sourced service, believing that the pound earned in a locality, should be spent in the same locality. We are therefore continually looking for new partners in the financial or construction areas, who share the same vision and values, and with whom we can work to develop models of excellence particularly within the Education, Emergency Services, or NHS sectors.
The Norse Group is well represented in many of the major cities throughout the UK, meaning that we are not constrained by geographical locations. |
