Norse Commercial Services prides itself on being at the forefront of staff development in the UK. With a workforce exceeding 5000, and providing a number of frontline public services, excellent training is essential in maintaining high standards as well as in retaining valued staff.
Norse provides a full range of training opportunities, from NVQ’s Levels 1-5 in multiple disciplines and Apprenticeships, through to BTEC and other management qualifications. 

As well as providing a skilled and motivated workforce, Norse also sees its Learning and Development programme as a means of contributing to the communities in which it operates. This hard work has been recognised by Business in the Community, which awarded Norse the Big Tick National Example of Excellence for its Skills For Life programme in 2007, with subsequent re-accreditation in 2008.

Norse has nurtured successful relationships with local educational establishments; including College of West Anglia, Easton College, Lowestoft College, and West Suffolk College, which allows it to offer training at a local level, and enables its staff to continue learning.
